Input & Control Components
Small controls with real weight: drag a slider and feel it snap, swipe to confirm, hold to record. Every one works with mouse, touch and keyboard, and respects prefers-reduced-motion.
All inputs & controls in Nexus UI
- Tick Slider
A value slider drawn as a row of fine tick marks that fill as you drag, swell into a soft wave under the pointer and read out a rolling number.
- Time Scrubber
A time picker card where you drag, flick or scroll a ruler of minute ticks under a fixed needle, with momentum, snapping and a rolling clock readout.
- Slide to Confirm
A swipe-to-confirm pill: drag the knob across with rubber-band resistance, and it snaps home early or locks in, waits on your async action and morphs into a success state.
- Emoji Reactions
A message with reaction chips that pop and roll their counts when tapped, plus a spring picker that adds new reactions with a layout animation.
- Like Burst
A like button whose heart squashes and fills with a ring shockwave and a particle burst, while the count rolls digit by digit.
- Upload Dropzone
A drag-and-drop upload card that lifts and marches its dashed edge while a file hovers, then lists each file with a type badge and a progress ring.
- Hold to Record
A press-and-hold voice button that grows into a live waveform with a timer, cancels when you slide away, and settles into a playable voice note.
- OTP Input
A six-box one-time-code field: digits spring in as you type, the boxes ripple while the code is checked, shake on a wrong code, and fold into a Verified pill on success.
- Radio Cards
A plan picker built on real radio inputs: the selection ring glides between cards, the chosen card opens to show its features, and the button label rolls to the new plan.
- Hold to Confirm
A destructive button you have to press and hold: the fill sweeps across, letting go early springs it back, and finishing bursts into a tick with an undo toast that counts down.
- Animated Tabs
A settings panel with a sliding segmented control: rows slide in from the side you moved towards, the panel resizes to fit, and each row has an iOS-style switch whose knob stretches while pressed.
